Aurora 3 – Titans 0

Aurora put together one of the most complete performances of the weekend, shutting out Titans with authority and clinical finishing.

Yusuf Adekunle opened the scoring with a well-timed finish off a precise assist from Khalid Zayn, setting the tone early. Aurora maintained control in midfield and continued to create chances, eventually doubling their lead through Aliu Ali, who capitalized on a setup from Bruno Klikan.

Kingsley Ezejiofor sealed the result with a confident strike, capping off a match where Aurora looked organized, composed, and dangerous in attack. Defensively, they remained disciplined throughout, never allowing Titans to gain momentum.

Rangers 4 – Siffredis 2

This was the most entertaining and high-scoring match of the weekend, featuring end-to-end action and standout individual performances.

Ben Davidson got Rangers on the board first, finishing a move assisted by Juan Rubio. Jeremy Mwarabu then took over, scoring twice, one from the penalty spot and another from open play assisted by Yusuf Jubril.

The chemistry between Mwarabu and Jubril was on full display, as Jubril later added his own goal, assisted by Mwarabu, showcasing a strong attacking partnership.

Siffredis managed to find the net twice, but Rangers’ offensive firepower proved too much, as they secured a convincing 4–2 victory.

Strikers 1836 1 – Houston United 1

A tightly contested match saw both sides share the points in a physical and defensive battle.

Antonio Monterro scored the lone goal for Strikers 1836 from the penalty spot, calmly converting under pressure. Houston United responded with resilience, matching Strikers’ intensity and finding an equalizer to keep the match level.

Neither side could break the deadlock in the closing stages, resulting in a hard-fought 1–1 draw that reflected the evenly matched nature of the contest.

Weekend Takeaways

Aurora’s dominant win sends a strong message to the rest of the league, while Rangers’ attacking display highlights their potential as one of the most dangerous sides going forward. Meanwhile, the draw between Strikers 1836 and Houston United emphasizes how competitive the league remains, with every point proving valuable.

As the HFA League season progresses, performances like these are setting the stage for an exciting and unpredictable campaign.
