Originally founded in 1946, the Houston Open is one of the longest-running events on the PGA TOUR calendar. Since its return to Memorial Park in 2020 following a major renovation, the tournament has redefined the fan experience — offering a challenging municipal layout that tests even the best players in the world.
Operated by the Astros Golf Foundation and presented in partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital, the event goes beyond the leaderboard. The tournament plays a significant role in supporting pediatric healthcare initiatives and community programs across the Greater Houston area — reinforcing its identity as more than just a sporting event.
