Copa Houston 6v6 Crowns Champions Across Five Divisions

The Copa Houston 6v6 tournament took over the fields at Houston Legacy Soccer League (6302 Deihl Rd) on Saturday, August 23, 2025, delivering nonstop action, community, and competition. With every team guaranteed three games, players and fans enjoyed a day full of football and culture.

2016 Division – Champion: Palmeiras

The youngest bracket featured fearless play from Palmeiras, Los Jrs, Rayados Waller, Spartan, and Garcia Academy. In the end, Palmeiras came out on top, showcasing skill and energy that set them apart.

2014 Division – Champion: Villa Manuel

A tightly contested division saw Rayados, Villa Manuel, Garcia Academy, and Spartan battle it out. Villa Manuel powered through the bracket to claim the trophy, stamping their name as the team to beat.

2013 Division – Champion: Pumas Gold

The Pumas dominated this division with both Pumas Élite and Pumas Gold in the mix, alongside Santitos. After a hard-fought day, it was Pumas Gold who lifted the championship.

2010 Division – Champion: Santitos

High-level play defined the 2010s with Santitos, Garcia Academy, and Xolos (Houston Soccer Club) competing. Santitos rose above with disciplined defending and sharp finishing to secure first place.

2008 Division – Champion: DCU Laguna

The oldest age group brought intensity from the opening whistle with DCU Laguna, Santitos, and KF Elite. DCU Laguna stood tall, winning the bracket and taking home the 2008 crown.

Off the Field

Players, coaches, and fans fueled up thanks to El Taco Men, who served tacos, gorditas, quesadillas, and tortas throughout the tournament — adding to the atmosphere of community and culture.
