H-Town Pulse Media Covers Houston Power Up Networking Party as World Cup Energy Builds in the City
Houston’s creative and soccer communities came together Friday night for the Houston Power Up Networking Party, a networking event centered on building connections ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Held on April 3, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM at 912 St. Charles St., the event brought together artists, creatives, musicians, and business owners to network and explore opportunities in Houston’s growing cultural soccer space. With 250 RSVPs, the event showed strong interest from the community as excitement continues to build around Houston’s role in the 2026 World Cup.
H-Town Pulse Media was on site covering the event with team members Cambree Catalano (CEO), Donzel Andress (CFO), Jacob, Bianny, and Manny in attendance. The night also featured a strong mix of creators and soccer personalities, including @freestlye and @c.qaddouri, both bringing football freestyle energy, @stxvxn_gram as a community connector and football enthusiast, and @zostler as a street soccer athlete. @jacospeaks was also there, a motivation, authenticity, and passion Speaker. @djzetroc kept the energy going as the event’s DJ, while @ririna__ and @fridaloreyn added to the creative presence of the evening through their work in content, lifestyle, culture, and community. @lagraciechavez, founder of the Houston Music Advisory Board, was also in attendance.
The event also welcomed Sebastian Salazar, founder of Volt League, along with Cambree Catalano in her role as Director of Volt League, adding another strong connection between Houston’s soccer community and the growing momentum surrounding the 2026 World Cup.
Adidas was in the house with a tent setup featuring cleats and soccer balls, helping give the event an even stronger soccer atmosphere. Everyone was repping a jersey, which made the theme of the night stand out even more. The event was open to guests 18 and older, with free drinks for those 21+ and a best jersey contest adding even more personality to the experience.
The event was backed by a strong group of sponsors, including Modelo, Volada Vodka, Texas Tailgate, UniSports, BMW Clear Lake, and Adidas. Their support helped elevate the night and showed the level of investment already building around soccer culture, community, and business in Houston as 2026 gets closer.
Big moment of the night came with breaking news involving Real Houston. At the event, Rigoberto Cortez is stepping into the Chairman role for Real Houston, while Juan Valdez, previously Vice President, is stepping into the President position, and Oscar Guerrero is taking over as Vice President. The announcement carried extra weight within the local soccer scene, as Real Houston currently has two teams in Volt League — one in Volt League 1 and one in Volt League 2.
As Houston prepares for one of the biggest sporting moments in the world, events like the Houston Power Up Networking Party continue to show how the city is already creating space for collaboration and community. From business connections to creative conversations and major soccer announcements, the event served as another reminder that the road to 2026 is about more than matches — it is also about the people, culture, and energy surrounding the game.
