Ghost Town entered the game as heavy favorites. Sitting in 1st place during the regular season, they had built a reputation as the most dominant and consistent team in the league. With their strong form and depth, many expected them to control the game and move comfortably into the final.

But Little United had a different script in mind, and they wasted no time executing it.

From kickoff, Little United came out aggressively, catching Ghost Town off guard with their intensity and attacking mindset. Their fast start paid off almost immediately, as they capitalized on early momentum to score the opening goal. Before Ghost Town could fully settle into the match, Little United struck again, doubling their lead and stunning both the opposition and spectators.

Down 2–0 early, Ghost Town found themselves in unfamiliar territory. The league leaders began to respond with more urgency, trying to regain control of possession and create chances. Their efforts eventually paid off when they pulled one goal back, cutting the deficit to 2–1 and reigniting hope.

With the score tightened, the match became a battle of composure. Ghost Town pushed forward in search of an equalizer, applying pressure and testing Little United’s defense. However, Little United stayed organized and disciplined, refusing to let their early advantage slip away.

Despite Ghost Town’s late push, they couldn’t find the breakthrough they needed. Little United held strong through the final whistle, sealing a memorable 2–1 victory.

The result marks a shocking upset, as the top-seeded Ghost Town Saints FC were eliminated despite their dominant season. For Little United FC, it was a statement performance, built on a fast start, clinical finishing, and resilient defending, sending them into the final with momentum and belief.

On a night where the favorites were expected to prevail, Little United proved that in soccer, anything can happen, especially when you strike early and refuse to back down.
