AUTHOR: Bianny Gomez

The Eisenhower High School women’s soccer team wrapped up their season with a dominant 8–0 win over Westfield High on senior night. From the start, it felt different—higher energy, extra focus, and a determination to end the season on a high note for the seniors.

Hailey Alfaro opened the scoring in the first half, quickly followed by a goal from Ariana, giving the Lady Eagles a strong halftime lead. Throughout the half, Eisenhower controlled possession and kept the pressure on, not allowing Westfield much room to respond. Their communication and teamwork stood out early and helped set the tone for the rest of the game.

They didn’t let up after the break, coming into the second half with the same intensity. Aileen and Brianna each added to the tally, continuing to build on the lead. Ashlyn delivered a standout performance with three goals that had the crowd roaring louder each time. Maryori sealed the win with the final goal, putting the finishing touch on a dominant performance.

While the offense lit up the game, the defense was equally outstanding. They stayed sharp, had each other’s backs, and shut down Westfield’s chances at scoring, locking in the clean sheet. It was a true all-around team effort on both ends of the field.

As the game ended, the field erupted into a joyful celebration, smiles, hugs, and photos capturing an emotional farewell for the seniors. It wasn’t just about the victory; it was a time for the team to come together, reflect, and celebrate all they had achieved. It was the perfect ending to the season, giving the seniors a night they’ll never forget.
