The Lady Dragons battled their way to a 2–1 victory over Lighting Elite, overcoming momentum swings and closing out a tight, competitive match.

The Dragons came out strong, controlling the tempo early in the first half. Their pressure paid off when Alyssa Anaya put them ahead, sending the Dragons into halftime with a 1–0 lead.

The second half flipped, with Lighting Elite finding their rhythm and pushing forward. Their momentum resulted in a well-struck free kick from Gabriela Bochus to tie the match at 1–1.

From there, the game opened up. Both teams created big chances in the second half, trading attacks and testing each other’s back lines. But it was the Dragons who found the breakthrough—Kaitlyn R. McCarty stepped up and buried the go-ahead goal, restoring the 2–1 lead.
