Houston FC are the 2025 UPSL Texas South Premier Division champions, edging out SCA Houston 2-1 in a dramatic final full of shifts in momentum and a last-second twist.

Houston FC opened the scoring with a composed penalty kick early in the first half and carried strong momentum for the first 20 minutes. But the tide quickly turned. For the last 25 minutes of the first half, it was all SCA—relentless pressure, crisp ball movement, and multiple dangerous chances that had Houston on the ropes heading into halftime.

SCA’s push finally paid off in the second half with a well-timed header off a free kick to level the match. They continued to dominate possession and looked the likelier side to find a winner. But against the run of play—and after barely registering shots in the second half—Houston FC stunned everyone with a game-winning goal in the final 10 seconds of regulation.
