Volt 2 – May 11 Matchday Summary

Matchday action on May 11 brought goals, standout performances, and rising momentum for several Volt 2 squads. Houston International delivered a dominant six-goal statement, Ballers earned a clean sheet behind a clinical brace, and Southend City showed resilience to fight back and climb the table. Substitutions and squad depth played a major role throughout the day as teams continue to jockey for playoff positioning.

Houston International 6-1 Apostles
Houston International put on a clinic with a commanding 6-1 win over Apostles. #70 (@tigrebarrera70) opened the scoring in the 16th minute, and the goals kept coming—#32 added one in the 22nd, while #8 (@_reyesco) completed a hat trick with goals in the 30th, 58th, and 69th minutes. #10 also got on the scoresheet in the 35th. Apostles found a brief moment of success with a goal from #35 in the 65th, but Houston had already taken full control. International used all five subs to keep the pressure high, while Apostles only rotated two players.

Ballers 2-0 Los Santos
Ballers controlled their matchup against Los Santos from start to finish, earning a 2-0 win thanks to a brace from #9 (@5.vargas). His first came in the 20th minute, followed by a composed finish in the 53rd to seal the result. Ballers made just one substitution, relying on their starting core, while Los Santos made two changes—but notably left their captain on the bench the entire match. The result keeps Ballers steady in the standings with a disciplined and efficient showing.

Southend City 3-1 Crossbar
Southend City shook off an early deficit to defeat Crossbar 3-1 in a gritty matchup. Crossbar struck first with a goal from #33 in the 9th minute, but Southend answered quickly—#12 equalized in the 16th, and #9 scored in both the 37th and 91st minutes to complete the comeback. Southend used all five of their subs to maintain energy and close out the game strong. Crossbar made two subs, including bringing on their second-string goalkeeper, but couldn’t match Southend’s second-half surge.
