Houston Stars made a powerful statement with a 6–1 victory over Clutch City, controlling the match from the opening whistle.
Houston Stars #11 delivered a first-half hat trick, scoring in the 5th, 28th, and 35th minutes, setting the tone early and putting the match firmly in Stars’ control before halftime. The Stars continued to dictate tempo in the second half, showing composure, balance, and attacking depth throughout the lineup.
For Clutch City, the result highlighted the pace and execution required in Volt Plus play as the season progresses.
Lightning Elite FC 5, Galácticos 1
In their second Volt Plus match, Lightning Elite FC responded emphatically after a season-opening loss to Clutch City, earning a commanding 5–1 win over Galácticos.
Lightning Elite broke the match open in the second half with goals in the 57th, 58th, 65th, 81st, and 83rd minutes.
#94 led the surge with a hat trick, scoring in the 58th, 81st, and 83rd minutes, sealing the match with clinical finishing late.
Galácticos found the net in the 68th minute, briefly cutting into the deficit before Lightning Elite reasserted control. The match also featured a notable sideline moment, as the Lightning Elite FC coach was shown a red card in the second half, adding tension during an otherwise dominant performance.
