GCM Varsity Edges CV 3-2 in Tight Contest
In a closely contested varsity matchup, GCM secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over CV. The game saw momentum shift multiple times, with both teams battling intensely from start to finish.
GCM struck first off a well-executed corner kick, as #10 Isaac Paramo connected with a front-post header to give his team an early 1-0 lead. However, CV quickly responded, finding the back of the net to level the score.
With the game up for grabs, #9 Aaron Hogner put GCM back in front with a composed finish. CV continued to fight, eventually equalizing once again to make it 2-2.
Late in the second half, GCM earned a free kick from the left side. The ball was perfectly delivered into the box and met with a header that found #18 José Alejandro, who finished the chance to secure the game-winning goal.
Despite the loss, CV showed resilience, pushing GCM until the final whistle. However, GCM’s ability to capitalize on key moments proved to be the difference in this tightly contested matchup.

Despite strong build-up play, the final pass or shot was just off target, leaving the match deadlocked at full-time.
CE King Holds Off Santa Fe for 3-1 Win
CE King earned a 3-1 victory over Santa Fe with a dominant pitching performance, tallying 10 strikeouts throughout the game.
CE King struck early, scoring in the bottom of the 1st inning and adding another run in the bottom of the 2nd. Santa Fe responded with their lone run in the top of the 5th, but that was all they could muster.
CE King sealed the game with a final run in the bottom of the 6th, ensuring their win with timely offense and solid defense behind their pitcher. Santa Fe couldn’t break through the strong pitching of CE King, who controlled the game from start to finish.
CE King Celebrates Senior Night with 2-0 Win Over Humble
CE King honored their seniors with a 2-0 victory over Humble. The team scored early in the first half and added another in the second, with their defense staying strong throughout. Humble couldn’t break through, and CE King sealed the win, celebrating both the victory and Senior Night.
Atascocita Defeats Kingwood 1-0 with First-Half Free Kick
Atascocita claimed a 1-0 victory over Kingwood on Tuesday, thanks to a first-half free kick from #22. The well-placed shot proved to be the difference, as Atascocita’s defense held strong to secure the clean sheet.
Despite Kingwood’s efforts to respond, they couldn’t find the equalizer. With this win, Atascocita continues to build momentum in district play.
