Volt League 3: Los Santos Defeat Woodlands 4-2 at GFI

Los Santos claimed another big win in Volt League 3 action, defeating Woodlands 4-2 in a high-tempo match that saw four different goal scorers and a pair of standout playmakers.

John Colina (#27) opened the scoring for Los Santos in the 5th minute, setting the tone early. In the second half, Denaile Cortez (#24) doubled the lead in the 46th minute, followed quickly by Edgar (#11) in the 47th, pushing the score to 3-0. Yerixon Colina (#29) capped off the night with a late goal in the 89th minute to put the match away.

Woodlands #45 tried to rally his side with goals in the 71st and 85th minutes, but the deficit was too much to overcome.

Denaile Cortez and Edgar each tallied an assist in addition to their goals, while Erick “Casper” contributed two assists with his creative presence in the midfield.

A statement win for Los Santos as they continue to climb in Volt League 3.
