VOLT 1
Ballers Hub FA 3–2 Little United FC
Ballers Hub FA and Little United FC played one of the most entertaining matches of the weekend. Ballers Hub FA set the tone early and carried a 2–1 lead into halftime, maintaining control through disciplined play. Little United FC continued to push in the second half, but Ballers Hub FA capitalized on key moments to secure a 3–2 victory in a tightly contested match.
University of Houston Men’s Soccer Team 3–2 Longhorn FC
The University of Houston Men’s Soccer Team got off to a fast start, converting a penalty kick in the 6th minute to take an early lead. The match remained competitive throughout, with both sides trading chances. Houston stayed composed in crucial moments and held on for a 3–2 win over Longhorn FC in a high-energy Week 6 battle.
Real Houston FC 1–1 Houston United FC
Real Houston FC struck early, scoring in the 8th minute to seize momentum and take a 1–0 lead into halftime. Houston United FC responded with increased pressure in the second half and found the equalizer in the 76th minute, earning a 1–1 draw as both teams shared the points in a hard-fought contest.
Ghosttown Saints FC 2–1 Houston Lions FC
Ghosttown Saints FC controlled the first half, building a 2–0 advantage by halftime against Houston Lions FC. The Lions showed resilience in the second half and managed to pull one goal back, but Ghosttown’s defensive discipline carried them through to a 2–1 victory on Sunday night.
VOLT 2
Real Houston II 5–1 Tigres UANL Houston Academy
Real Houston II wasted no time making an impact, opening the scoring in the 3rd minute with a strike from outside the 18-yard box. Tigres UANL Houston Academy responded when #4 finished inside the box in the 18th minute, and the match was tied 1–1 at halftime.
The second half belonged entirely to Real Houston II, who raised the tempo and finished their chances clinically, pulling away for a convincing 5–1 victory.
Los Santos FC 3–3 Ghosttown Saints Two
Los Santos FC and Ghosttown Saints Two played to an exciting 3–3 draw in a match filled with momentum swings. The teams went into halftime tied 2–2, setting the stage for an open second half. Both sides added another goal, but neither could find a winner in one of Week 6’s most attacking matchups.
Asturias FC 4–1 Apostles FC
Asturias FC held a 2–1 lead at halftime in a competitive first half against Apostles FC. In the second half, Asturias took full control, adding two more goals to separate themselves and secure a 4–1 victory with a strong all-around performance.
Texas Gunners 2–1 Sporting Houston
Texas Gunners held their ground and earned a 2–1 victory over Sporting Houston in one of the weekend’s most talked-about matches. A 32nd-minute free kick from Sporting Houston struck the post and led to a scramble finish that was ruled out for a foul on the goalkeeper — a decision that would have made it 1–1.
Texas Gunners maintained their advantage, while Omar Romero converted a penalty kick in the 74th minute to cut the deficit to 1–2 for Sporting Houston. Despite late pressure, the Gunners saw out the match.
Texas Gunners forward Fabio Hernandez (#9) was named Man of the Match after scoring two goals. His performance was capped with a postgame interview conducted by @ma10_tv.
