Volt Cup Round 1: First Six Teams Advance to Round 2
Volt Cup Round 1 is officially underway — and we now have our first six teams advancing to the next stage of the tournament.
Despite weather delays and venue adjustments earlier in the weekend, the intensity never dropped. With 26 teams entering the bracket and 10 set to be eliminated in Round 1, every result carried major implications.
Six matches have now been completed — and six teams are officially moving on.
🏆 Round 1 Results (Completed Fixtures)
Los Santos 1–3 Houston FC
Houston FC delivered a composed performance, capitalizing on their chances and controlling key moments to secure advancement.
MAFC 4–1 Real Houston II
MAFC made one of the strongest statements of Round 1 so far, dominating offensively and punching their ticket to Round 2 in convincing fashion.
Tigres 1–2 Galacticos
A tightly contested battle, but Galacticos showed composure when it mattered most and secured the win to move forward.
Houston United 1–1 Houston Stars
With advancement rules favoring higher-ranked teams in the event of a draw, Houston United advances after a competitive 1–1 result.
Real Houston 2–0 Ghosttown 2
Disciplined defending and efficient finishing helped Real Houston secure a clean sheet and a strong Round 1 victory.
Longhorn FC 4–2 Apostles FC
An entertaining and high-energy matchup saw Longhorn FC’s attacking depth carry them into Round 2.
