The VOLT semifinals have arrived, and the road to the finals now runs through four massive matchups at GFI. Eight teams remain, but by the end of the weekend, only four will survive. No second chances: win, or go home.
Saturday night kicks things off with intensity.
In the VOLT 2 semifinal, Real Houston 2 faces Ghosttown 2 in what’s expected to be a physical, tightly contested battle. With both teams fighting for a spot in the final, this one could come down to the smallest details.
On Field 2, Ghosttown Saints FC take on a dangerous Little United side in the VOLT 1 semifinal. Little United comes in flying after a dominant 6–3 win over Ballers in the quarterfinals. They’re led by Mario Perez, the VOLT League 1 top goal scorer, making them one of the most dangerous attacking teams left. But Ghosttown brings serious quality, Jovan Prado (4th in scoring) and Camilo Prado (2nd in assists) give them both finishing and creativity to match.
Sunday brings two more decisive matchups.
Los Santos enter their VOLT 2 semifinal against Texas Gunners with momentum after a clutch quarterfinal win, sealed by their #10 @504nano with the game-winner against Asturias. They also bring another major threat in John Colina, 3rd in VOLT 2 scoring. But Texas Gunners counter with one of the biggest weapons in the league, Fabio Hernandez, the VOLT League 2 top scorer, capable of deciding the game at any moment.
On the other side, Houston Lions face AC Juniors in the VOLT 1 semifinal. The Lions earned their place with a hard-fought 3–2 win over Real Houston, proving they can handle pressure. They also bring creativity through Albright Suh (4th in assists). But AC Juniors are loaded, Daniel Castro (5th in scoring) and Christopher Cruz (3rd in assists) give them the firepower and playmaking to compete at the highest level.
Four games. Eight teams. Two nights. One field.
By the end of Sunday at GFI, only four will remain.
